Where I live water is silenced for nearly six months every year. One of the delights of Spring is the sound of water – the music of the spheres.  I live ‘on the marge of Lake Laberge’, a beautiful bulge in the Yukon River which  makes music both calm and strident on its way to the Bering Sea nearly two thousand miles north.
